An Indianapolis real estate development company is announcing its first project in Alabama – the construction of a $61 million, five-story apartment complex in Birmingham.
TWG announced construction is expected to begin this month on The Tracks, a five acre, 273-unit development with studio, one and two-bedroom layouts. Located at 2400 First Avenue South, The Tracks is expected to be completed by the summer of 2024.
The Tracks is a work of Birmingham designer Fifth Dimension Architecture & Interiors. Lending was provided by FirstBank.
A pathway connector to the Rotary Trail, The Tracks will connect the Parkside District with the Lakeview area. Amenities include parking, a pool deck, fire pits, grilling station, community lounge, gym, indoor bicycle storage and 1 gig Internet speeds.
In partnership with the Dept. of Innovation and Economic Opportunity, City of Birmingham, and Jefferson County, The Tracks will provide two units free of charge to local students in Birmingham.
