Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a robbery at Honey Baked Ham.
The holdup happened Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the business at 7001 Crestwood Boulevard in east Birmingham.
Birmingham police Officer Truman Fitzgerald said the suspect entered Honey Baked Ham and demanded money from an associate of the business. While demanding money, the suspect kept one of his hands inside a pocket as if he had a weapon.
Fitzgerald said the robber was unsuccessful at getting any money. No injuries were reported.
He is described as a Black male wearing a blue hoodie with the word “Reebok” in white, black jeans, navy blue Adidas with red stripes, clear latex gloves and a blue hospital mask. He had a low haircut.
