They’re all wanted for Christmas. Police in Mobile, Ala., got into the holiday spirit by decorating their station’s Christmas tree with ornaments made from mugshots and wanted postings — but some people are not happy about it. Their choice of decor and online holiday card to Mobile citizens was intended to thank locals who cooperated with investigators throughout 2020. Many commenters accused cops of missing the holiday spirit, among other things. “We have decorated our Tree with THUGSHOTS to show how many Thugs we have taken off the streets of Mobile this year!” police wrote on Facebook alongside a photo of the fir. “We could not have done it without our faithful followers!” Cops also wrote that throughout the month of December, wanted criminals are invited to swing by the station and pick a present from the police department’s property room, at which time they will be arrested and give a free COVID-19 test. They also encourages citizens who know of suspects on the loose to place an anonymous call to investigators. Nearly 8,000 people commented on the “Thugshots,” with many of those people complaining the tree celebrates folks who may have mental disorders or found themselves in desperate situation during hard time. Others noting some suspects on the tree have likely been accused, though not convicted, of the crimes for which they are wanted. “Hi.
