Mark Oleg and Robert Shaw were kind enough to invite me along for this fantastic hike in northeast Alabama. Spephen’s Gap Cave, with its waterfall echoing inside the chamber, was almost surreal. Certainly one of the most spectacular sights I’ve seen. Next we visited Pisgah Gorge to see three more impressive waterfalls, and ended the day at Bucks Pocket State Park. Early signs of spring abounded on the whole trip, especially at Buck’s Pocket where wildflowers were blooming everywhere.
