Child accidentally shot by sibling at Ensley home


An investigation is underway in the Ensley Highlands area after a child was accidentally shot by a sibling Monday afternoon.Birmingham police said west precinct officers responded to 1444 30th Street Ensley around 2:25 p.m. Monday on reports of a child shot. At the scene, officers discovered an 11-year-old had been shot in the arm by a sibling.The child was taken to Children’s of Alabama with non-life-threatening injuries.Investigators determined the shooting was accidental.No arrests have been made.Grab the WVTM 13 app for the latest updates on this developing story.
