“4 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word” (Acts 8:4 NKJV).
We live in exciting times! Information is available at our fingertips. People from all over the world can communicate with us in a matter of seconds! The same holds true for us! We too can communicate with others instantly. We should take advantage of this age of Social Media to use our profiles on the various platforms out there to do good instead of the vain things that our peers are doing! We should not care about posting selfies when people are spiritually dying out there! We should not be concerned with home improvement or other life hacks when there are souls to be saved! We should not be concerned with making outfit-of-the-day videos when there are few out there who are not clothed in their wedding garment of righteousness which means they are not prepared for heaven (Matthew 22:1-14). Of course, there is nothing wrong with having good clean fun on Social Media, but the challenge in this message is to take your efforts to be a Social Media influencer to the spiritual level. Use your influence to direct people to the Word of God through Christ instead! That is where our interest and efforts should be!
