Our Poco F4 video review is out

Last year’s Poco F3 was an overwhelming success with arguably the best performance in its price class and Poco decided to go one up this year with the Poco F4. We’ve already done the written review of that one and now it becomes the latest phone to be featured in our video review series. Do the added upgrades make this device a worthy consideration or are you better off looking elsewhere?

Poco F4 brings a Dolby Vision HDR capable display, 67W fast charging and a 64MP main cam with OIS. The phone also ships with Android 12 and MIUI 13 out the box and has a more boxy design with a larger rectangular camera cutout on the back. That about sums up the main upgrades over the Poco F3 which already had a pretty solid all-around spec list.

One area where the newer phone falls short compared to its predecessor is battery endurance. Poco F3 managed a 101-hour endurance rating in our proprietary tests which is a downgrade from Poco F3’s 114-hour score. The new 67W charging is a welcome addition and delivers a full charge in just 38 minutes compared to 56 minutes on the Poco F3 with its 33W charger.

Images from the main camera are detailed and bring balanced processing and accurate colors. The 2MP macro cam fared a step below last year’s Poco F3 while the 8MP ultrawide module was on par.
