On Friday night, musical artist Rihanna went all out for a dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. The 34-year-old beauty mogul was photographed wearing a floor-length black gown made of velvet with a deep neckline and puffy, long sleeves embroidered in an asymmetric pattern in black thread. She carried a matching clutch of the same material.
To dress up the dramatic outfit even more, Rihanna was adorned in diamonds, wearing a multi-strand necklace that closed closely around her throat and large glittering earrings. She left her hair down, with her growing bangs swept across her face to the side. Her heels were just visible under the hem of her dress. For makeup, she wore a glossy shade of light brown lip color, and a slightly smokey eye.
The singer recently announced she would be performing at the next Super Bowl Halftime Show, posting an image of her arm holding up a football on her Instagram timeline. This would be a big return to live performance after several years of developing her Fenty beauty brand and lingerie line. Her last album, ANTI, was released in 2016 and fans have been clamoring for a followup for years. Many are hoping this will be her opportunity to announce a new album.
It has been a big year for Rihanna in general, having given birth to her first child in May of this year, who she shares with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. They have not yet revealed their son’s name, but an insider told People, “Their baby boy is healthy, and Rihanna is just in awe of him…Rihanna barely leaves his side. She is a fantastic mom.”
Though they have not been seen out much since May, the source said it was because they have been “adjusting” to parenthood, but overall they “are doing great.”
