#SMDDayton & Bucket List in Alabama: Sept. 28, 2017 (Day 2: Social Media Day Dayton)

Chris Strub is the first person to live-stream and Snapchat in all 50 U.S. states, and his adventures continued into October 2017 with a speaking engagement at Social Media Day Dayton, followed by a bucket list trip to Alabama with his Dad, Charlie Strub, and sister Kerri Strub.

On Sept. 27, Chris made his first visit to Dayton Airport, flying early from New York’s La Guardia Airport to meet up with Sara Moore, founder and CEO of SEA Media in Centerville, Ohio. Sept. 28 was Social Media Day Dayton at the Holiday Inn Fairborn, keynoted by Brian ‘iSocialFanz’ Fanzo, with an after-party at JD Legends. On Sept. 29, with help from Kim Gaskill, Chris flew from Dayton to another new airport on his list: Birmingham, Alabama, where he met up with his Dad, Charlie Strub, and sister, Kerri Strub. On Sept. 30, Chris, Kerri and Charlie took a trip to Craig Air Force Base in Selma, Ala., where Charlie was born in 1954; then headed to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to see the Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Ole Miss Running Rebels, 66-3. On Oct. 1, the Strubs visited Montgomery, Ala., stopping at EAT South’s Downtown Farm, several government facilities and a number of historical stops around the city, before heading back to Birmingham for their return flight. Chris and Charlie were delayed heading home, leading to an unanticipated overnight stay at the Comfort Inn in Charlotte, before they returned to Long Island on Oct. 2.
