We discovered a real architectural gem, a Frank Lloyd Wright house while driving through Florence, Alabama. It was built for a local couple, Stanley and Mildred Rosenbaum between 1939 and 1940. Their father in-law gave them $7500 and told them to build a house they wanted. He also gave them 2 and a-half acres of land across the street from his house. The city’s restored the house and it’s now open to visitors and students.
