Created by Moose Toys, the Magic Mixies Magic Cauldron is an interactive toy with over 50 customizable sounds. It comes with magical ingredients, like a crystal gem and magic feather, to bring a special, big-eyed furry friend to life in just a few taps of a wand and some magical mist. Sounds so cool, right?

With supply issues being what they were last year, retailers — including Amazon, Walmart and Target — had a hard time keeping them in stock. And other lesser-known stores and resellers started cashing in on parents’ woes by jacking up the prices from the regular price of $69.99 to upwards of $100 and more.

After the hullabaloo of the holidays died down in 2021, the Magic Mixies Magic Cauldron won awards for “Collectible Toy of the Year” and “Creative Toy of the Year” from the Toy Association. We expect the Magic Mixies Cauldron to be a hot toy for the second year in a row, followed by the Magic Mixies Mixlings Tap & Reveal Cauldron with brand new products debuting from Moose Toys in October, like the much-anticipated Magic Mixies Crystal Ball Rainbow.

As you can see, the price of the Magic Mixies Cauldron has been all over the place. Its original price was $69.99 when it first hit the market at the end of September. The highest Amazon price was $165 just days later. By November, prices almost doubled — that’s if the product was even available. And then after Christmas, prices went back to normal. Supply chain issues were a factor last year, so here’s hoping they aren’t this year.

Right now, get the Magic Mixies Cauldron for 35% off and pay $51.99 (after you click the $10 coupon). The lowest price we’ve seen hovers around $42. This is a great deal if you’re planning on surprising a special little someone for the holidays.

Target Magic Mixies Cauldron (sold out)

Target sold the Magic Mixies Magic Cauldron in pink for $69.99 last year, but it wasn’t available for shipping. Right now, you not only can get the toy shipped to you right now, you’ll also get it on sale for $48.99.

Walmart Magic Mixies Cauldron

Walmart was one of the few stores selling Magic Mixies at a discount last year at $54. Like other retailers, it wasn’t available for shipping, but you could check local stores’ availability. The retailer restocked the toy throughout the holiday season, but it went pretty quickly. You can also currently get the Magic Mixies Magical Misting Cauldron in Pink for $64 and the Magic Mixies Rainbow Cauldon for $64.

But the cheapest right now is the blue one for $74.99. Other merchants sell the Magic Mixies Cauldron for more through the Walmart.com marketplace.

Stores With Magic Mixies In Stock

Stores have finally restocked their Magic Mixies inventory, like ToyWiz. The retailer currently has the blue Magic Mixies for $79.99, but it wasn’t available last year.

Blain’s Farm & Fleet Magic Mixies Cauldron (sold out)

The Magic Mixies Cauldron is $69.99 at Blain’s Farm & Fleet and, if there’s not a location near you, it’s OK because they can ship, too. Although it isn’t currently in stock, the website mentions it’s “coming soon.” We haven’t seen the retailer up the prices on these highly coveted toys as some sellers have, so you can confidently purchase yours when it becomes available.

GameStop Magic Mixies Cauldron (sold out)

Last year, GameStop rolled out their Magic Mixies inventory on specific dates. For example, the pink one was “expected” to arrive online on Dec. 5, 2021, for $99.99, which is $30 higher than its regular price.

While the Magic Mixies Cauldron isn’t currently available, it’s on sale for $67.97 and you might find it at a GameStop location near you for in-store pickup.

Indigo Magic Mixies Cauldron

In 2021, Indigo carried the Magic Mixies Cauldron, but it went in and out of stock. You just added your email to find out when it was back in stock. The downside is that Indigo is in Canada and it takes between two and three weeks for delivery.

Standard shipping is free, although you might have to pay customs or duties fees. But, the $99.99 price is in Canadian dollars, meaning it’s roughly $77.04 in U.S. dollars.

Kohl’s Magic Mixies Cauldron Sale

Kohl’s sold the Magic Mixies Cauldron during the holidays last year for $69.99, but most were out of stock for shipping so you’d have to find a store that had it in stock. A tall order.

Right now, you can do both: have it shipped or find it in stores. Kohl’s was charging $10 more but now you can get it for $74.99. When you shop at Kohl’s, however, you can earn and use Kohl’s Cash on your purchase.
