ALABAMA PT. II

In honor of MLK day, this is the second and final part of the two part civil rights” historical tour specific to Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery. It was quite the way to close out 2023 and as previously mentioned, I’m incredibly grateful to have taken part in this journey and I hope that all of you can learn something from this series. We’ll definitely be back at some point (hopefully soon) to experience more of the history that occurred in Birmingham. Otherwise, I hope this trip although short, inspires all of you to learn more about the history of this country whether that means reading firsthand accounts of the atrocities committed against Black people and other minorities or visiting these sites if given the opportunity. Of course there were highs such as visiting the site of the Montgomery Brawl and overall just spending time with my father and brother but the South has always been a painful place to me. I hope that this vlog sheds at least some light on the events that make it feel this way.

This vlog is for those who want to learn more about the civil rights movement.
