EBT SNAP UPDATE – BREAKING NEWS – JUNE 2022 NEW STATES APPROVED, EMERGENCY PAYMENTS, NEW EXTENSION



USDA has approved states for EBT SNAP Emergency Allotment Payments for the Month of June. Among the states approved include Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Continues to appear that SNAP Emergency Allotments will continue until Mid-October if the Public Health Emergency is extended.

Three states approved in the month of May will see an end to benefits including Indiana, Georgia, and Vermont in June.

Additional states are expected to be approved in the subsequent days and weeks for June Emergency Allotment Payments.
