Edward Henderson’s own dog aided Prattville, Alabama law enforcement in his arrest. Bo, the half-Pitbull, half-Husky pooch obeyed police orders to “go get him” and led drug enforcement agents to Henderson’s hiding spot.
When Prattville DEA pulled their vehicle up to Henderson’s residence with a search warrant, the suspected meth-dealer fled on foot toward the woods on the back of his property. He jumped into a 25-foot deep ravine and disappeared into the woods.
Bo the dog met officers at the top of the ravine. One officer then told Bo to “go get him” and that’s exactly what the dog did. The pooch led officers down the ravine and out of the wooded area to a patch of tall grass.
Officers found Henderson lying on the ground, hidden by the grass but ratted-out by his own dog. Police recovered Methamphetamine and components of a Meth Lab from Henderson’s home.
Bo is currently in the custody of the Henderson’s family members. Police Chief Mark Thompson told the Montgomery Advertiser that police have contacted the humane society and are monitoring the dog.
