A Saturday night shooting left one man dead, according to Athens police.
Police responded to a shooting at 9:29 p.m. at the Higgins Court Apartments, at 515 South Hine Street in Athens.
Kerry Deshaun Crutcher, 32, was found dead at the scene. The male shooter remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to Athens Police Captain Brett M. Constable.
