Huntsville, the North Alabama city that was recently named the Best Place to Live in America by US News & World Report, is on another list of best places in the country.

Niche recently ranked Huntsville as the 31st best place to live in America, behind such cities as The Woodlands, Texas (No. 1), Cambridge, Massachusetts (No. 2) and Naperville, Illinois (No. 3). Niche also has Huntsville – did we mention it’s the best place to live in America? – ranked behind Berkeley, California (No. 8), Seattle (No. 13), San Francisco (No. 14) and College Station, Texas (No. 27).

Niche used several factors in its ranking, including quality of schools, affordable cost of living, low crime rates and overall satisfaction from residents, as well as commute rates, diversity and health and fitness. Only cities with 100,000-plus residents were included.

No other Alabama city made the top 100. The closest was Mobile at 143, followed by Montgomery at 188.
