Miss Myra’s BBQ is in the Cahaba Heights neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. This BBQ joint has an excellent reputation for consistency. They are known for their barbecued chicken with Alabama white sauce, but also have very good pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and smoked sausage. They’ve been smoking meat on the same hickory pit since 1984.
Andrew Zimmern (Bizarre Foods, The Zimmern List) literally lost his mind over Miss Myra’s banana pudding and was quoted to say, “Without question, the banana pudding is the best banana pudding in the world.”
