ALLOUEZ, Wis. (WBAY) – An alert for a missing, endangered Allouez woman was lifted Tuesday night. The 27-year-old woman was found safe at a home in Alabama.
She’d been last seen getting on a Greyhound bus in Meridian, Mississippi, on Friday, June 24. She was reported missing the next day after she never arrived at her destination in Wisconsin.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office considered her missing and endangered after investigating her disappearance. The alert was issued statewide because the woman has ties to multiple places in Wisconsin.
The alert was lifted shortly after 8 P.M., about four hours after it was broadcast.
