Shoplifters have been caught on camera fightting the Belk store employees who tried to stop them.
The incident took place on Saturday, July 5, in the Madison Square Mall parking lot in Madison, Alabama.
According to reports, a loss prevention officer at Belk attempted to stop a female shopper he had suspected of shoplifting. She allegedly assaulted him.
The fight spilled out into the parking lot at two men with the female shopper also assaulted the Belk employee. Despite the video, no arrests have been made.
Madison Square Mall is one of several thousands malls across America struggling with changing consumer habits. A report earlier this year said the there were 40 tenant vacancies at the shopping center.
