Black Friday 2022 (Nov. 25) is almost here. Admittedly, it feels like it’s been with us for for months now, and in a way, it has. Pre-Black Friday sales have been kicking off since early October. And retailers have been dropping their official Black Friday ads for weeks.
But even with all that early hype, Black Friday is still the main event on a shopper’s calendar. It holds the best deals of the year on tech, toys, fashion and more. It’s the key to saving on everything on your gift list. And it’s a way to side-step inflation, at least a little bit.
To help you navigate the Black Friday chaos and emerge knowing you shopped smart and saved the most, we’ve rounded up the best sales — as well as other important details, like when they kick off. Some retailers are keeping their official deals under wraps, so check back. We’ll be updating our list as the retailers update us.

Amazon Black Friday Sale 2022
When: Online beginning Nov. 24 through Nov. 25 (48 hours). Amazon usually kicks off its sales at midnight Pacific time.

Kohl’s has already dropped its Black Friday ad, and it’s packed with savings. If you normally don’t associate Kohl’s with great tech deals, you’ll be surprised, as Kohl’s is offering deals on some of the top tech of the year, from fitness watches to smart home devices. And some of the deals are made even better, due to the extra Kohl’s cash that Kohl’s is throwing in on select products.

Macy’s dropped a Black Friday ad that’s full of savings on fashion, toys, beauty and home goods. It also dropped a special Thanksgiving ad insert with additional deals. We suspect a longer ad to drop closer to Black Friday.

- 60% off holiday ornaments and trees: If you’re itching to shop holiday décor and absolutely cannot wait until right after Christmas, go crazy during this sale with less guilt.

However, based on the early Black Friday deals it has launched already (and based on deals from past years), we’re confident in saying it will be one of the top sales of the year to shop, especially if you’re after TVs, Apple products, headphones and appliances.

Home Depot dropped its Black Friday Month (yes, month) ad, with savings that last practically the entire month of November.
We are pretty certain it will unleash more deals for Black Friday itself. But there are plenty of deals in this early sale to keep you busy, including:
- DeWalt Atomic 20-Volt MAX Cordless Brushless Compact Drill/Impact Combo Kit for $149 ($80 off): Power tools are a great Black Friday buy at Home Depot, and this deal gets you 35% off an essential set for homeowners.
- Up to 30% off select appliances: If your appliances need replacing, Home Depot’s Black Friday sale is a great time to do it. Plus, you get free delivery on purchases of $396 or more.
