Walmart released a sneak peek online of its first Deals for Days event. Here’s everything you need to know to get ready:
Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days Event 2: Nov. 14 to Nov. 16
Walmart+ customers have exclusive early online access to the second Deals for Days three-day event starting Monday, Nov. 14 from 12 p.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET. Beginning online and in stores on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. ET, all Walmart customers have access to the second savings event that will continue in stores through Friday, Nov. 16.

Walmart has finally announced its official Black Friday plans for 2022. And it’s a doozy! In an Oct. 19 news release, Walmart confirms its plans to “spread the excitement of Black Friday savings over three events throughout November and cap off a month of deals with Cyber Monday.”
The move isn’t anything new since the retailer has done this for the last two years in what’s aptly called Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days. The first of three events kicks off on Nov. 7 and culminates with a big Black Friday blowout on Nov. 25 and Cyber Monday extravaganza on Nov. 28.
In 2022, Walmart is promising even bigger Black Friday savings throughout multiple popular categories, including electronics, home, toys and apparel, plus top brands like Apple, Dyson, LEGO and LOL Surprise! And if you’re worrying about supply chain issues, Walmart has that covered, too, by “preparing for months to ensure strong inventory of in-stock Black Friday deals for its customers all November long,” according to the news release.

When Is Black Friday 2022 at Walmart?
Walmart monthlong Black Friday Deals for Days for 2022 kicks off on Nov. 7 and wraps up with Cyber Monday on Nov. 28.
The Deals for Days sale includes three separate events spread out weekly, starting online every Monday in November for Walmart+ members and then becoming available for everyone else later that day. The first two events last for three days while the third and final one lasts for four days through Black Friday.
Last year was the first time Walmart opened up Black Friday deals to Walmart+ members with extended hours (four hours before everyone else) to shop Black Friday deals, and that trend continues in 2022 but with seven hours of early access.
The retailer offered something similar in 2021 with three Black Friday Deals for Days events (starting Nov. 3) that continued until the day before Black Friday (on Nov. 22). Walmart used the “Deals for Days” name that same year for its summer Prime Day-adjacent sale, as well as their Black Friday sale. In 2020, Walmart launched its Black Friday sale just one day before Thanksgiving.
Walmart made an early announcement last year that it would join heaps of other retailers choosing to remain closed on Thanksgiving Day as a way of showing appreciation to their employees and was the first to drop its 2022 Holiday Toy Book in August. So far, Walmart has been radio silent on their in-store Black Friday hours, but AL.com reports Walmart’s CEO is confirming that stores will again remain closed on Thanksgiving Day itself.
Plus, customers can earn Walmart Rewards on purchases of select items through its newest loyalty program.
Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days Event 3: Nov. 21 to Nov. 25
Walmart+ customers have exclusive early online access to the third Deals for Days event for four full days starting Monday, Nov. 21 from 12 p.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET. Then beginning online and in stores on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. ET, all Walmart customers have access to the third savings event that continues in stores into Black Friday on Nov. 25 and through Nov. 27.

Walmart Black Friday Deals for Days Event 1: Nov. 7 to Nov. 9 (ended)
Walmart+ customers had exclusive early online access to the first Deals for Days three-day event that started Nov. 7 from 12 p.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET. Then beginning online on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. ET, all Walmart customers had access to the first savings event that continued in stores through Nov. 9. Although the first event has technically ended, there are plenty of Black Friday deals that are still going strong.

We have heard nothing from Walmart yet on its 2022 Black Friday ad drop, however; the retailer announced them ahead of the 2021 Black Friday events, so we expect the same this year.
