Restaurants With Takeout Discounts: These Deals are To-Go Only

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or you just don’t feel like cooking, eating at a restaurant is often the solution. You don’t have to cook or do the dishes, giving you more time to relax with loved ones.

But if the idea of visiting a loud, bustling restaurant is almost as stressful as cooking, takeout might be the answer. You get to eat at your own dinner table, without having to do any of the work.

And if you’ve been wondering whether there are any takeout-exclusive deals at your favorite restaurant chains, you aren’t alone. From places like Maggiano’s and Carrabba’s, which will give you a discounted (or even free!) meal to take home if you dine in, to takeout-only offers at Olive Garden and Buffalo Wild Wings, there’s something for everyone.

Don’t feel like driving to get your takeout? Don’t miss these restaurants with free delivery, too. Happy dining!

Olive Garden

If you want the breadsticks without the commotion, why not get Olive Garden to go? The restaurant’s take-home offer will keep you fed all week long. Buy one to-go entrée at regular price, and you can take home a second, chilled “take home entrée” for $6 to enjoy later in the week.

Maggiano’s Little Italy

Maggiano’s prides itself on serving family-style Italian dishes. And what’s more family style than eating in the comfort of your home? Maggiano’s offers carryout family meals for two to four people for $40 and $60, respectively. The meals come with salad, pasta, entrées and dinner rolls. Weekday lunch takeout will save you even more money, too – the chain’s takeout weekday lunch combos include a half sandwich and a side salad for just $11.50.

And if you want to eat in the restaurant, Maggiano’s has another deal, too. Per the chain’s dine-in menu, you can get a “take-home classic pasta” for free if you order a specialty pasta while dining in.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill

Similar to Maggiano’s pasta deal, Carrabba’s will send in-person diners home with an extra helping of food. Order any entrée for dine-in, and you can take home a full to-go meal, including soup and salad, for just $10 more.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings has plenty of in-store specials, including buy one, get one free boneless wings on Thursdays and buy one, get one 50% off wings on Tuesdays. But if you’d rather eat your wings at home, take advantage of the chain’s “at-home exclusive” bundle deals. Just $9.99 will get you 10 boneless wings and a side of regular fries, for delivery or takeout only. And if 10 wings aren’t enough, there’s also the “20/20” bundle for takeout and delivery orders — you’ll get 20 traditional wings, 20 boneless wings, and an order of fries for $39.99.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

If you’re ordering takeout from BJ’s, you may want to load up on meals for the week. Any takeout order of $9.95 or more comes with the option to add a chilled “take home entrée” for just $6. Some of the take-home meal options include fire-roasted barbacoa chicken and deep-dish ziti.

Bob Evans

If you’ve got a handful of mouths to feed, Bob Evans‘ to-go family meals can help. The restaurant offers family meals that feed up to eight people, with everything from fried chicken to family-size soups and salads. You’ll spend less than you would if everyone ordered individually, and you’ll get plenty of food.

Boston Market

Do you have a number of family members to feed, many of whom love rotisserie chicken? You can’t go wrong with a family meal from Boston Market. The chain’s family meals serve three to six people, and as with other bundle deals, they’re more affordable than ordering individual meals.
