5 UGG Knockoffs for Avoiding Those Luxe Prices

UGG is probably my favorite shoe brand. The UGG boot is the most popular and most well-known of all its products. Even if you don’t live in a cold, snowy climate, you’ll still see them worn with denim cutoffs, skinny jeans, boyfriend joggers, and anything that’s fashionable and trendy. UGGs can be worn year-round, paying no mind to the weather outside.

But with times being what they currently are, sometimes a pair of UGGs isn’t always the best choice for your budget. And that’s why we love dupes. However, not all dupes are created equal.

Just perusing online, plenty of options pop up. Some websites — including Temu.com, SocoSands.com and Soxy.com, for example — have their fair share of pretty cute dupes. But since I’ve never shopped at these online retailers, I’m not including those as part of my favorite UGG dupes. They’re out there, so you can check them out.

These are the alternatives I think are the best dupes you can shop right now for some of UGG’s most popular styles:

1. UGG Tasman Slipper Dupe

DH Gate Platform Slipper

The women’s UGG Tazz Slipper is hands-down a bestseller because it features the same ultra lightweight, durable outsole as their Classic Boot so that you can wear it indoors and out. Lined with plush sheepskin and upcycled wool, it’s crafted from soft suede with an embroidered braid and an easy slip-on silhouette. Pair with boyfriend jeans and sweatpants.

Personally, I like the platform slipper better than the flatter sole, but if you prefer that dupe, it’s available for $45.99. I’ve never bought anything from DH Gate, but it has positive reviews. The thing is that products ship from China (usually less than $19 for one pair), so the shipping fee is likely higher than you are used to. The retailer offers discounts when you buy more shoes at the same time. Also, you have to be patient because it takes up to a month (but typically less) to receive your order.

If you’re impatient like I am, then Cushionaire has a shoe with a similar profile as the Tazz (but sans the cute embroidery) with 4.7 stars for $59.99.

2. UGG Ultra Mini Dupe

For something so ultra mini, UGG’s Classic Ultra Mini Boot is fabulously fantastic. But at $140 and sold out virtually everywhere, you might be better off with a dupe.

The L.L. Bean Wicked Good ankle boot features the same amazing UGG style in two of the same colors — black and brown — and in many size options. It features genuine Australian lamb shearling on the outside and cozy moisture-wicking shearling on the inside. It even has the same pull tab on the back.

3. UGG Mini Boot Dupe

The UGG Classic Mini II Boot is another one that pretty much went viral in 2022, leading popular in-stock sizes to be few and far between even at $150. Enter Cushionaire.

The brand is known for its dupes of Birkenstocks, but there are also plenty of UGG dupes to choose from, too. The Cushionaire pull-on ankle boot has a very similar style to UGG, including the tread-like rubber outsole, faux shearling lining and premium genuine suede leather upper. Both boots have a 5-inch shaft.

4. UGG Short Boot Dupe

The Classic Short II Boot is a slightly taller version of the UGG Mini. It has an 8-inch shaft and hits right about the middle of your lower leg. It’s also $170.

If that price isn’t within your budget right now, then consider the DKSUKO Classic Winter Short Boots with a similar shaft height for a lower price. It’s available in black, chestnut, pink and gray.

5. UGG Tall Boot Dupe

H&M Warm-Lined Tall Boots

The UGG Classic Tall Boot is my first-ever pair of UGGs. And I can honestly say, they look the same (minus some wear and tear) as they did when I got them almost 20 years ago. But the Classic Tall II boot is $200.

If longevity isn’t your goal, then the H&M dupe might be for you. It’s significantly lower in price and looks to have the same shaft height as the UGG, but the H&M’s boot is made mostly with polyester instead of sheepskin.
