Exploring the 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 was like stepping into a different world. The unique rock formations and stunning views left me in awe. It’s a must-see destination for any nature lover or photography enthusiast.
Tips to know before you go:
– Alabama Hills is open 24/7 and it’s free to visit.
– Nearest town with good resources : Lone Pine, California. We had our brunch at Alabama Hills Cafe & Bakery.
– Download offline maps beforehand.
– Make sure to have a full tank of gas before going in.
Things to do :
🎬 Explore movie locations (Some of the most popular films that took place in Alabama Hills were The Round-Up (1920), The Lone Ranger (1938), and The Man From Utah (1934). More recently, Django Unchained, Iron Man, and Gladiator all had sets here, along Movie Road)
