UWF Chamber Music Class Concert

Noon Wednesday, Feb. 1. Old Christ Church, 405 S. Adams St. The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the UWF Chamber Music Class in concert. For this year’s celebration, the talented pianists from the studios of Dr. Hedi Salanki-Rubardt and Mr. Blake Riley will perform a program including works by Mozart, Schubert, Ginastera, Albeniz, Bartok, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, as well as others. 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. Snowbirds from across the country will gather at the Florida-Alabama state line for the second of three Snowbird Hootenanny luncheons. The theme of the gathering is “Sweetheart Saloon” and it is dedicated to lovebirds of all ages. ‘Mindgame’

7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 through Feb. 4. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. When Mark Styler, a writer of glossy ‘true crime’ paperbacks, tries to get an interview with Easterman, a notorious serial killer, he has no idea what he’s walking into. Black Jacket Symphony – Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours”

8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. The Black Jacket Symphony recreates Fleetwood Mac’s iconic album “Rumours” live in its entirety — note-for-note, sound-for-sound — plus a full set of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits. Over the past 10 years, the group has performed over 40 classic rock albums, bringing an incredible night of entertainment to over a million music lovers across the U.S. The group of hand-picked musicians changes based upon the album being performed and no sonic detail is overlooked, with the musicians doing whatever it takes to reproduce the album. Krewe of Airship Pirates Milton Mardi Gras Kick-Off Party

6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. Jernigan’s Landing, 5158 Willing St., Milton. Join the Krewe of Airship Pirates for the kick-off to Milton Mardi Gras. Two national touring bands will be on the stage at the Blackwater River. Keith Anderson takes the stage at 7 p.m. and David Nail follows at 9 p.m. The show is free, but there is a VIP option. Krewe of Avant Garde’s Masquerade Mardi Gras Ball

6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. Hilton Garden Inn Airport-Medical Center, 1144 Airport Blvd. The Krewe of Avant Garde invites the community to its 40th anniversary Masked Mardi Gras Ball to show their support for the military. Enjoy dancing to live music by Wilk McKeen’s Dr. Breeze Band, dinner, fun, a court program and a cash bar. Pensacola Double Bridge Run

7 a.m., 15K (Maritime Park); 8:30 a.m., 5K (Daniel Drive, Gulf Breeze – adjacent to the football stadium); Saturday, Feb. 4. The Pensacola Double Bridge Run is back. The 15K course carries runners over two bridges, across Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound. It will run from downtown Pensacola with a tour that includes the historic district, and picturesque Bayfront Parkway, a run through Gulf Breeze, and onto Pensacola Beach. The 5K invites both runners and walkers to travel from Gulf Breeze to beautiful Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island and the Gulf Islands Seashore. Mozart Madness

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. First United Methodist Church, 6 E. Wright St. The soaring stained-glass windows of First United Methodist’s sanctuary provide a beautiful setting for the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra’s annual celebration of Mozart. This chamber orchestra concert features the composer’s Oboe Concerto with the PSO’s own Matt Fossa as soloist. Lost for more than 100 years, Mozart’s only concerto for the instrument was rediscovered in 1920, reintroducing the world to its irresistible melodies. $10. More info: pensacolasymphony.com.

Eddie B.’s Teachers Only Comedy Tour ’23

8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Eddie B. soared to new heights with his series of comical videos titled “What Teachers Really Want to Say.” In a matter of hours, his content sparked the attention of educators all over the country when they realized that they were not alone and finally had someone to joke about the things they were reluctant to say out loud. The second annual Pawdi-Gras

11:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5. Downtown Pensacola on a closed down Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox streets, in front of Perfect Plain. WolfGang LLC is hoping to get the Pensacola community together for a family and furry event as part of Pensacola’s Mardi Gras line-up. WWE Live: Road to WrestleMania Supershow

5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. WWE Road to WrestleMania is a live wrestling event that sees WWE’s talented roster of superstars take to the ring to unleash extreme feats of athleticism, strength and showmanship.
