How to Beat “Clean & Snatch” (Side Quest)

While the main story of Dead Island 2 has plenty of content, there are many side quests worth doing to acquire weapons and level up, which will, in turn, only make the game easier. For example, the Clean & Snatch quest is a short side quest that revolves around collecting a couple of clues to unlock a chest that contains a valuable sword.

Clean & Snatch begins at Roxanne’s House, where players meet Ricky and Roxanne. To trigger the start of the quest, head out to their semi-drained pool, where a note will be sitting on top of a chest inside it. After picking up the note, the first clue will be revealed, and the quest will begin.

How To Find Obi’s Key

The first clue reveals that Obi has stolen an ancient sword and locked it inside the container. Unfortunately, Obi is off working on the pools of one of the most notable Dead Island 2 setting, Beverly Hills. This means any clues towards unlocking the container will be found there too. The game will then instruct players to investigate the several Beverly Hills pools. The second clue will be found at Farouk’s House, the home directly north of Roxanne’s home when looking at the map. None of the clues will link to other indications; they are all only needed for the end of the quest.

The third clue can be found at the large house in the center of the map that is West of Roxanne’s. It is a home with corrosive barrels around it and a curved shape pool. After receiving this clue, the final one will be located at Michael’s, which players will have entered upon arriving at the Beverly Hills area in Dead Island 2. Now that all four items have been collected reviewing them will reveal that players are looking for a pool in Bel-Air with Pizza and Unicorn floats where a prank video might be filmed. This can be none other than the GOAT Pen House.

How To Get Electrocutor Officer’s Sword

Head to the GOAT Pen House in Dead Island 2’s Bel-Air, which will likely be filled with Zombies. There is no note to find here; players are looking for Obi himself, who has unfortunately been turned into a Walker. The easiest way to find him is to start taking out Zombies until he appears. His name will be indicated above his head to confirm it’s him, but he’s likely to be found around the pool. After he’s been killed, he will drop his key, which can be collected. Take the key back to the start of the quest, Roxanne’s House, and unlock the container in the pool.

The container will be opened to reveal the Electrocutor Officer’s Sword, and the Clean & Snatch quest will be completed. This is a Rare weapon with a base power of 232, 219 damage, and max durability of 63 because of Dead Island 2‘s weapon durability design. Some of these stats can be upgraded with Perks, but unlike other found weapons that need to be upgraded with a mod to offer Shock damage, this sword is already equipped with an electrical mod when found. If this quest is completed when first available, it will likely be the best weapon Dead Island 2 players have available in their inventory.
