Additionally, the Blue Marin can spawn s in the ocean at any time, which means players will have to fish a lot to catch it.

Players will be able to encounter the Blue Marlin from the months of November to April and July to September. The Blue Marlin is a rare find, as it can only be found at the very end of the Pier. The player can find the pier at the end of every player’s beach. Standing at the absolute end of the pier is recommended to prevent other fish from spawning to increase the chances of the Blue Marlin appearing. Blue Marlin can also appear at all points of the day. Using Fish Bait is the best way to make this fish appear. To get more Fish Bait, players should look for moving sand that will let them get Manila Clams, which can be crafted it into fish bait.

Since the Blue Marlin is one of the rarest and most expensive fishes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players can sell it for 10,000 Bells. However, if players catch multiple Blue Marlin, they should donate at least one to the museum as it looks beautiful inside a Tank.
