According to a seemingly very trustworthy tip we received, Infinix is working on a gaming-oriented smartphone that is due to launch in the first week of August, starting in India.

This will be called Infinix GT 10 Pro, and is aiming to provide high gaming features at an affordable price. You can see it in the exclusive images below.

The phone’s back seems to adopt a Nothing-like semi-transparent design, although the design is quite far from that of the Nothing phones. It’s just a similar idea, but executed very differently, as you can see.

The camera island especially seems like it’s from an entirely different world. There’s also a prevailing ‘gaming phone’ aesthetic here, which is fitting. We see three camera sensors on the back, and a ring LED flash. The main sensor will have 108 MP resolution according to the inscription on the diagonal stripe inside the camera island.

There’s a Dimensity chipset at the helm, although our source hasn’t shared which exact one. We do however know that games like PUBG, MLBB, and Free Fire will be specially optimized to deliver impressive frame rates and stunning visuals on the GT 10 Pro.

The box lets you use it to build an eco-friendly music amplifier, so it doesn’t just sit around on a shelf, useless, once you’ve taken the phone out.

The Infinix GT 10 Pro will be available in at least two colors, as seen below – a darker one and a white. It will run XOS 13 based on Android 13. The experience will be close to stock, and the phone will get one major Android update and two years of security updates, as will all members of the GT series.

This is all the information our source was able to share, but as the GT 10 Pro’s launch is still a few weeks away, we wouldn’t be surprised if more details are outed in the near future.
