Does Bed Bath & Beyond Still Offer Price Matching?
Bed Bath & Beyond still offers price matching to customers. However, now it’s only a benefit for members of the Bed Bath & Beyond rewards program called Welcome Rewards by Club O:
This membership is a paid membership (there’s no free tier anymore), so you will need to pay a membership fee to get price matching from Bed Bath & Beyond.

Bed Bath & Beyond Price Matching Basics
As with all retailers that offer price matching, Bed Bath & Beyond has rules in place, including:
- Only specific online competitors will be price matched: Amazon, Home Depot, Staples, Target, Walmart and Wayfair.
- Only some products are eligible. Bed Bath & Beyond will price match only when you find the exact same brand, model and style as the product you found at Bed Bath & Beyond. Their policy even mentions the same UPC is required.
- The product must be in stock and available. Bed Bath & Beyond will price match only when the product is currently available from the competitor. So don’t try to get a price match on a product that are sold out or discontinued somewhere else.
- You’ve got seven days. The price match can be processed within seven days from the date of original purchase.

What Are Bed Bath & Beyond’s Price Matching Rules?
In addition to the basics above, keep these rules in mind when requesting a Bed Bath & Beyond price match:
- Bed Bath & Beyond only price matches new, in-stock and available items. So that means no factory seconds or refurbished products.
- Pay attention to the date of sale. Bed Bath & Beyond will match a price up to seven days from time of sale, so check your receipts.
- There’s no coupon matching. Don’t try to get Bed Bath & Beyond to honor a competitors’ coupon or buy one, get one offer.
- Welcome Rewards by Club O members must fill out a price match request form with all required fields filled in, including the competitor name and specific item details in order for the price match to process.
- Members can expect to hear back from Bed Bath & Beyond within one to two days after an online price match request form is submitted.
- You are limited to three price-match requests per month.
- The price match request must include the price of the product plus any shipping costs.
What’s Excluded from Bed Bath & Beyond’s Price Matching Policy?
Not everything you can buy at Bed Bath & Beyond OR at its competitors is available for a price match. These items are excluded:
- Appliances. Small kitchen appliances, large appliances or electronics.
- Clearance. Close out, liquidation, limited-quantity offers or limited-time-only sales (including special hours or flash sales).
- Seasonal sales events. Prices listed during the period of Thanksgiving Day to Cyber Monday. That’s Black Friday weekend. So don’t go hunting through other retailers’ Black Friday ads to try to find a better price and get a price match.
- Products from third-party sellers. Products shipped from or sold by third party sellers including Amazon Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace are not available for price matching.
- Loyalty member offers. Pricing only available to select groups of customers, including auction prices or those requiring memberships.
- Used or damaged goods including refurbished items.
- Bundle offers.
- Pick up discounts.
- Financing offers.
Bed Bath & Beyond’s Price Match extends only to specific online competitors, and Welcome Rewards by Club O members should take advantage of this policy when qualifying items are found.
How to Price Match at Bed Bath & Beyond
The price match request form is easily accessed from the Bed Bath & Beyond Account page, under “My Orders:”
Here’s a quick list of your steps.
- Join Welcome Rewards by Club O. This membership will cost you $19.95/year and will be automatically renewed. By the way, if you were a member of Welcome Rewards or Overstock Club O before the merger, congrats: You’ve got a year of free membership.
- Find or buy your in-stock item at Bedbathandbeyond.com
- Double check the same in-stock item at Bed Bath & Beyond competitors (Amazon, Home Depot, Staples, Target, Walmart and Wayfair).
- Log in to your ‘My Account’ page and navigate to ‘My Orders’.
- Click on the ‘Eligible for Price Match’ to open the request form.
- Fill out all required fields including store, brand and model number.
- Submit your price match request online.
- Receive a follow up in one to two business days regarding the approval.
- Receive price match for the item, in the form of a refund for the difference.
