Can You Still Earn Best Buy Rewards?

Yes, but you must have a My Best Buy credit card to get rewards on your purchases. Best Buy used to offer rewards to all of its membership program enrollees, but that changed in 2023.

You can still earn cash back rewards via RetailMeNot, however. See the current cash back offers for Best Buy

Do You Need a Best Buy Credit Card to Be a Member?

No, anyone can sign up for the three My Best Buy memberships, whether or not they have a Best Buy credit card. However, in order to earn points on purchases, you need to be a credit card holder, either the My Best Buy credit card or the My Best Buy Visa card. When you shop with either of those cards, you receive a $5 reward for every 250 points you accrue.
