New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) presented an Information Session on NEFA’s National Theater Project Creation and Touring Grant Application livestreaming on the global, commons-based, peer-produced HowlRound TV network on Thursday 3 August 2023 at 12 p.m. PDT (San Francisco, UTC -7) / 2 p.m. CDT (Chicago, UTC -5) / 3 p.m. EDT (New York, UTC -4).
For the first time in its more than ten-year history, NEFA’s National Theater Project (NTP) moved its flagship Creation and Touring Grant application to a summer cycle. This information session with NTP staff broke down what the National Theater Project is; reviewed the criteria and eligibility requirements for the Creation and Touring Grant; explained changes to the timeline, criteria, and process that have arisen from NTP’s ten-year evaluation process; and discussed what makes for a competitive application.
