Apple is adding 4 new games to Arcade this month and it is updating 40+ current titles


Apple Arcade will add 4 new titles to its roster this month and will bring interesting updates to over 40 current games too. Let’s start with the new games, the first of which will be added later this week.

Junkworld, September 22: a tower defense games similar to Bloons TD 6. It is filled with daring adventures, perilous terrains, and dubious companions.

Cypher 007, September 29: inspired by 60 years of spycraft, players will traverse a landscape that celebrates this renowned universe of espionage, and visit some of James Bond’s most iconic moments and extraordinary adventures.

On top of that, Hello Kitty Island Adventure is getting a major update on September 29, which will include a “Spooky Celebration event” and will introduce new characters: Baku, Cherry and Berry. This game the the #1 Arcade hit, says Apple, and has a fan rating of 4.9/5.

Later this month Jetpack Joyride 2 will gain two new game modes plus mini events. WHAT THE CAR?, Cityscapes: Sim Builder, Angry Birds Reloaded and more will also receive big updates.

Apple Arcade is a subscription service – you can play these and 200+ other games for $5 a month (there is a 1-month free trial if you want to test it out). Arcade works on iPhones, iPads, Macs and the Apple TV (you should get three months of Arcade for free with these products). Arcade is also part of the Apple One service.
