LA-based Britta Raci takes a twist on the typical break-up indie pop with lyrics that make the listener ask, “Wait did she really say that?”
The pop artist is not afraid to get personal about her experiences post-break up and even makes fun of her misery with lyrics like “I don’t date losers anymore” and “I repeat my mistakes for fun”, poignantly expressing how embarrassing it is to be broken up with, or cheated on, and most of all, falling in love. Raci artistry blends the perfect amount of comic relief and raw, real emotion to soothe a broken heart with beautiful vocal melodies and honest songwriting.
On her new single, “i could do it too,” premiered via Celebmix, Britta Raci navigates the rollercoaster of heartbreak post-cheating, all while grooving to a buoyant and bouncy indie pop track. Playfully, the song ponders the age-old question when faced with unfaithfulness: “What did the other person have that I don’t?”
Raci states, “‘i could do it too’ is the perfect track to bop your head to while you cry.”
