Car Seat Headrest have shared their rendition of Death Cab for Cutie’s Transatlanticism song “We Looked Like Giants.” The cover appears on a new split 7″ single with the Beths (joined by New Zealand producer and multi-instrumentalist Pickle Darling), who contributed a version of the Postal Service’s Give Up track “Brand New Colony.” Check out both songs below. The vinyl single will be available January 12 via Sub Pop.
The new 7″ arrives to commemorate Death Cab for Cutie and the Postal Service’s 20th anniversary co-headlining tour, which kicked off last month. The final two dates of the trek take place October 13 and 15 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
