Turn Your Well-Loved Crocs Into a Free Limited Edition Jibbitz

Crocs announced on Oct. 27 that it’s stepping up its sustainability efforts by introducing the Crocs Takeback pilot program that will ensure every single donated pair finds a meaningful second purpose.

Shoppers can breathe new life into their gently used or beat-up Crocs by returning them back to a Crocs store, where they’ll be added to a designated collection box and donated to the nonprofit Soles4Souls, whose 4Opportunity program helps people start and grow businesses that sell donated shoes and clothing.

As a way to say “thank you,” you’ll receive a free limited-edition “Crocs Saver” Jibbitz charm (while supplies last).

Any Crocs shoes that are unwearable will be repurposed by upcycling them into new Crocs shoes, for example. The Crocs Takeback program is only available in these states right now: Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. But we’re assuming if it goes well, Crocs will expand into other states.
