How To Get The Legendary Frostallion Noct In Palworld

Frostallion Noct is perhaps the rarest Legendary Pal you can get in Palworld since it does not appear in the wild. Unlike other creatures like Anubis or Jetragon, Frostallion Noct does not have an Alpha Boss encounter or spawn location on your map. This Dark-type variation of the Ice-type Frostallion must be created by pairing other powerful Pals together at your base.

You need to catch the Ice-type Frostallion to obtain the Noct variation, so travel to coordinates (-357, 508) east of the Land of Absolute Zero fast travel point to meet the original Legendary. This creature is Level 50 when you first encounter it and has a very low capture rate. Spend Lifmunk Effigies at a Statue of Power in Palworld to boost your overall capture power multiple times.

How to Breed a Frostallion Noct in Palworld

Palworld using a Huge Dark Egg from breeding to produce rare Legendary Frostallion Noct

The only way to get a Frostallion Noct in Palworld is to breed the Legendary from a normal Frostallion and Helzephyr. Helzephyr exists as one of the many flying mounts you can get and ride through the skies of the open world. However, this creature only appears at night, flying in the air in the central section of your map, right above the region covered in red rocks.

Try to craft a Giga or Hyper Pal Sphere to catch a Helzephyr since the Dark-type Pal usually appears as a stronger Level 25 creature in the world.

Once you have Frostallion and Helzephyr together, you need to have a Cake made from a Cooking Pot at your base. By placing 8 Red Berries, 5 Flour, 7 Milk, 2 Eggs, and 8 Honey in the Pot, you can create an item that encourages two Pals to breed. As long as it is within the Breeding Box, the Cakes you make will never expire like other food items might in Palworld.

Similar to many other variants in Palworld, Frostallion Noct comes from an Egg produced by the Ice-type Frostallion and Helzephyr’s pairing. An Egg Incubator will keep a Frostallion Noct Egg warm until it hatches after some amount of real-world time. Some Pals like Ragnahawk can even use their Kindling work suitability to heat your Incubator so that the Egg hatches even faster.

Eventually, the Legendary will emerge from its Egg and immediately become available for use on your team. This Pal has many different skills and abilities that make it an excellent addition to your roster, including being a flying mount like one of its parents. Anyone who gets a Frostallion Noct in Palworld has an opportunity to fully complete their Paldeck by creating a Pal not seen anywhere in the wild.
