This may sound crazy, but if breaking up with you significant other before Valentine’s Day is something you’ve been thinking about, Pizza Hut has an inventive idea: Send them a break-up message with a pizza!
The popular chain just announced this offer, which will run until Feb. 14. Pizza Hut is giving customers the option to send a free hot honey pizza, dubbed “Goodbye Pies,” to be delivered to your soon-to-be ex. The pizza will be packaged in a custom box and feature a broken pizza heart illustration. Plus, you have the option to write in their name and include a custom message.
This all may seem harsh, but at least they won’t have to make dinner plans?
The breakup doesn’t stop just with the pizza. Pizza Hut has an option to generate an “expertly crafted, carefully curated and potentially plausible” breakup excuse for you. Some of the options include “I’m just not ready to share a bathroom with you,” and “I have a rare disease where I can’t respond to your texts anymore.” Woof.
There’s some fine print on this deal. The offer is only available in select cites: New York City, Chicago and Miami. But if you don’t live in one of those areas, you can request a link to a Pizza Hut gift card, but they may sell out fast. Good luck!
