To answer that question, Stacker analyzed 2022 Q1 data (so may be a little old, but probably still valid) from YouGov to rank the most popular chain restaurants in the U.S. Let’s dive into what they found out!
First, the methodology. The rating agency surveys people on a daily basis across a variety of areas—including, and not limited to, culture, politics and business—to determine what people like and dislike. With their surveys, they take into consideration each person’s age and generation. For this survey, they took the percentage of people who had a “positive” response to a restaurant to calculate a positivity rating.
