Barbie’s world is about to get a modern upgrade with the incredibly fabulous and downright cute Barbie x Kartell collaboration. The pink doll-sized replicas of Kartell’s most famous designs allow every enthusiast to own mini versions of these iconic chairs.
Mattel often collaborates with brands and artists to bring unique and exciting products to fans, which have included high-end fashion designers like Moschino and Christian Dior, for example.
Mattel and Kartell, a renowned Milan-based design company famous for turning furniture into art, have collaborated on various projects in the past, including a giant Barbie Dreamhouse and furniture-inspired UNO card game. For this newest collaboration with Barbie, Kartell has downsized five of its most iconic chair designs—in Barbie’s signature signature neon pink hue.
The Barbie x Kartell Doll-Sized Chair Set comes with five doll-size replicas of Milan designer’s most iconic creations, including the translucent Louis Ghost chair, indoor/outdoor Masters chair, eco-friendly A.I. chair, Venice dining chair, and the Ero|S| swivel armchair.
The set is $60 and will be available starting April 16 at 9 a.m. PT. Mattel is limiting purchases to two per shopper.
