Essentially, Clear the Rack is a sale on a sale. During the savings event, Nordstrom Rack slashes the prices on its already deeply discounted clearance section by an additional 25%. That can translate to total savings of up to an eye-popping 75% on brands like Madewell, Steve Madden, Kate Spade, Go Couture, Love by Design and many more. In addition to massive discounts on fashion for men, women and kids, the sale includes deals on beauty, home goods, kitchen gadgets and tech accessories.
What Are the Nordstrom Rack Clear the Rack Dates?
Finding spectacular deals at Clear the Rack is easy. Predicting when the sale will happen is less so. The retailer typically runs the sale around four times per year, often at the start of a new season. In the past, we’ve seen Clear the Rack sales pop up around March, May, July and November. These flash sales last between two and four days, and members of the Nordstrom rewards program — the Nordy Club — get early access.
When Is the Next Nordstrom Rack Clear the Rack Sale?
Word on the street is the next Clear the Rack sale is right around the corner. At the time of writing, the next Clear the Rack sale is expected to launch in May and will run for two to four days. Like many major retailers, Nordstrom Rack hosts an annual Labor Day sale. The sale usually kicks off on Friday and runs through the three-day weekend. In past sales, Nordstrom Rack has taken an extra 40% off clearance items and sandals.
Nordstrom Rack Black Friday Sale (November)
The Nordstrom Rack Black Friday sale — a.k.a “Rack Friday” — usually starts the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and runs for several days. During the highly anticipated sale, the retailer has been known to slash clearance by an extra 60%. This year, Black Friday is Nov. 29, but check for an early start date.
Nordstrom Rack Cyber Monday Sale (December)
Nordstrom Rack Cyber Monday deals usually drop the Monday after Thanksgiving weekend. During the sale, the store has historically dropped prices on gifts and winter wear by up to 70%. In 2024, Cyber Monday is on Dec. 2.
