Memorial Day is always the last Monday in May. That means Memorial Day weekend runs May 25 to 27 in 2024.
When Do Memorial Day Sales Start?
If you’re starting to shop on Memorial Day itself, you’re late to the game. That’s because many Memorial Day sales kick off around the middle of the month (May 15). The bulk will be live by early in the holiday week (May 20). The “late” sales will still kick off before the weekend, on Friday May 24.
What Goes On Sale for Memorial Day?
Memorial Day is most known for its deals on big-ticket home items. Think appliances, mattresses and furniture. But there are great deals on beauty, home and outdoor items, too. Tech deserves an honorable mention, but we’d suggest you wait a bit longer: During the summer, tech goes on sale for Amazon Prime Day and back-to-school season.
