The historical SLOSS Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama is a rusted industrial wasteland that is now a historic landmark and offers tours as well as acts as a venue for concerts, events, filmmaking and photo shoots.
It has been featured on many television shows dealing with the paranormal such as Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters. But, during our visit the curator kindly asked us not to talk about the “hauntings” there and to talk about the history of this famous blast famous and show SLOSS for what it is now…a beautiful relic of the past.
