Student members with an annual membership renew at $59/year compared to monthly student membership costs of $6.49 per month. Your membership may be subject to sales tax in certain states.

1. 10% Off Sale Items at Whole Foods for Prime Members
Look for blue signs in the store designating which items apply, and you’ll be able to save an extra 10% off sale prices. (This discount excludes alcohol.) Scan the Amazon Prime code displayed at the register with your Whole Foods app, and the discount will be automatically applied on eligible items.
So how do you prove you’re a Prime member at Whole Foods and get this discount? Amazon doesn’t hand out membership cards like Costco and Sam’s Club do. Instead, you’ve got these options:
- Download the Whole Foods app and sign in with your Amazon account. Then, when you’re at the Whole Foods checkout, scan the Amazon Prime code displayed at the register.
- Pay with the credit or debit card associated with your Prime account.
- Add a verified phone number to your Amazon Prime account and link it to the Whole Foods app. Then, give that number to the cashier.

This credit card does not have an annual fee and it does not charge for foreign transaction fees.

With their free Whole Foods Prime Delivery with a two-hour window, you won’t even have to leave the comfort of your home. Choosing this safe delivery method to your front door can be especially helpful when you’re strapped for time.
You can place an order for delivery online, or through the Whole Foods tab in the Amazon mobile app.
Available only to Prime members in certain ZIP codes, this convenience has a $9.95 service fee for delivery. Additional rush fees will apply on one-hour delivery orders.
If you ordered alcohol, upon delivery, you’ll be required to show identification for a contact-free interaction.
Tipping is not required. If you choose to leave a tip, the entire tip will go to your driver. Within 24 hours of delivery, you’ll be able to edit or change your tip online.
5. Free Whole Foods Store Pickup
Whole Foods grocery pickup is free for Prime members on orders over $35.
Shop on Amazon.com, click on the Whole Foods market tab, select your store and start shopping.
When you’re ready to check out, select a one-hour pickup window and place your order. You’ll receive an email confirmation. Check your instructions because some stores may not have designated spots for pickup or they may require you to enter the store. If the store doesn’t have a designated area, then suffice it to say you can park anywhere in the lot.
Before your arrival, check in through your confirmation email or app while you’re on your way. This will help reduce your wait time, as you won’t have to check in upon arrival. Follow the signs to park in designated areas (or the instructions if they differ) and a Whole Foods associate will bring your order to your car.
Also, enable notifications and location access on your Amazon app. This way, you’ll be able to get updates about the order.
If you don’t have a mobile phone, call the store to let them know you’ll be arriving soon and get specific instructions as to where to park. If you don’t have the phone number or accidentally left your phone at home, simply go into the store and someone at the customer service desk will help you with your order.
6. Free Amazon Pickups
You can have your order shipped to Whole Foods and pick it up in person, a big benefit if you’d rather not leave your package unattended on your doorstep. Depending on your location, you’ll be able to pick up your Amazon package at a Whole Foods Amazon Hub counter or at an Amazon pickup locker.
7. Free Amazon Returns
Returning your package at Amazon is a lot more convenient than mailing it back yourself because Whole Foods will box it up for you. Just start your return via your Amazon account, choose your preferred Whole Foods store, bring the items to Customer Service, show the QR code in your return request email and hand over the goods!
