Gaten took to the microphone with a local musician, who looked more than happy to provide the guitar instrumentals for the young actor. Following the performance he shook the hand of the man on guitar.

Gaten even took the time to pour himself a pint in O’Donoghue’s, which he wouldn’t have been able to do in his native country America as he’s under 21.

‘We’ve seen some strange things in O’Donoghue’s of Killarney but now we can officially say we have seen Stranger Things,’ the owners of the pub said.

After meeting fans at the Aisling Hotel in Dublin later in the week, it’s believed Gaten left Ireland on Saturday.

It remains unclear what exactly Gaten was doing on our shores as he is yet to document his stay on any of his social media platforms.

Ireland also welcomed Love Island stars Paige, Danica and Antigoni over the weekend as they took a trip over to the Irish capital from the UK.

The trio of reality TV stars have been spending more time with each other in recent weeks after both Paige and Danica ended their relationships formed in the villa.
