What Happens To Mike November After Jack Ryan Season 4?

Warning: The following article contains spoilers from the series finale of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan has come to an end following four seasons on Amazon Prime Video, meaning that fans have to say goodbye to characters like Mike November, played by Michael Kelly. November first appeared in the Amazon series in season 2 as the Central Intelligence Agency station chief in Venezuela, aka, Jack Ryan’s boss. He and John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan didn’t always see eye-to-eye and constantly butted heads, but at the end of the day, November and Ryan always had mutual trust.

During the series finale of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, November, who had been shot by a sniper at the end of episode 5, worked with Michael Peña’s Domingo Chavez to save Ryan from the clutches of Bill Tuttle’s men in Shan State, Myanmar. Ryan was kidnapped, meaning the show had finally caught up to the flash-forward sequence from the premiere. Ultimately, Chavez rescued Ryan by himself since November was injured. Later, November helped Ryan disarm the bombs at the border. As for what life has in store for November following Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan season 4, the series might have set up another story for the character.

Mike November Can Join Rainbow After Jack Ryan

Michael Kelly as Mike November Meaning Behind Name

Following the conclusion of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Amazon Prime Video is rumored to have one spinoff in the works — a Rainbow Six television show starring Michael Peña as Domingo Chavez. In Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy, Chavez is instrumental in creating Rainbow, an international counter-terrorism unit, alongside his father-in-law, John Clark. If the spinoff is ordered to series, Michael Kelly as Mike November may appear.

With the introduction of Chavez in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan season 4 and his and November’s team-ups throughout the final episodes, it would make sense if Chavez asks November to join Rainbow. Plus, given his rocky history with the CIA and his feelings about the agency, November would be looking for somewhere else to utilize his skillset. Only time will tell if Amazon orders a Rainbow Six spinoff featuring Chavez, but if the streaming service does, it wouldn’t be surprising if fans saw November again, too. What Happens To Mike November In Tom Clancy’s Books?

Jack Ryan and Mike November

Hopefully, Mike November appears in a spinoff because fans can’t look to the book series for answers. November isn’t inspired by a character from Tom Clancy’s novels — he was an original character created for the Amazon Prime Video show. So the future for November is unknown. However, some believe that November could be based on John Clark, which would further prove the theory that his story could continue in a Rainbow Six spinoff of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.
