Deals: Samsung Galaxy A25 on sale on Amazon DE, along with a variety of Galaxy tablets

It took a while, but Amazon Germany finally has the Samsung Galaxy A25. This budget 5G phone caters to fans with things like a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack (plus stereo speakers). It has a 6.5” 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display and a plastic frame and back (glass front, though) with no dust or water resistance.

It is powered by last year’s Exynos 1280 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. On the rear, it has a 50MP main camera with OIS and 4K video and an 8MP ultra wide (120°), on the front is a 13MP selfie.

Higher end but more than double the price is the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. It has as 6.4” 120Hz FHD+ display and does have an IP68 rating to go with its aluminum and glass (GG5) construction. It runs on the Exynos 2200 chipset in Europe and has a smaller 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired but also 15W wireless charging. the 50MP main camera has a larger sensor and OIS, there’s a 12MP ultra wide (123°) and even an 8MP 3x tele module. The S-phone supports DeX and video out over USB-C.

Next, plenty of Galaxy tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a good starting point – sub €500 price tag buys you a 10.9” 90Hz IPS LCD (2,304 x 1,440px) and a newer Exynos 1380 chipset. Unlike the Tab S7 FE, this one has dust and water resistance (IP68). There’s a microSD slot, stereo speakers by AKG and an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging. The USB port also does DeX (DeX multitasking is available on the tablet’s own display too, of course).

A step up from that is the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, which brings a 12.4” 90Hz IPS LCD (2,560 x 1,600px) and a 10,090mAh battery but is otherwise mostly the same. Note that the plus model has more RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ is about the same size as the Tab S9 FE+ (it’s slimmer and lighter) and its 12.4” display is an AMOLED with a higher 120Hz refresh rate and slightly higher pixel density. And you get a flagship chipset with this one, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with 12GB of RAM as standard while keeping the microSD slot. The battery is the same (10,090mAh, 45W).

You can go larger with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, which is equipped with a 14.6” AMOLED display (120Hz, 2,960 x 1,848px) and an 11,200mAh battery (still with 45W charging). Like its S9 siblings, it has an IP68 rating and an aluminum frame and back.

There’s also the smaller Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. With an 11” display it is comparable in size to the Tab S9 (though gain it is thinner and lighter). This is a 120Hz AMOLED, of course, and again you have the advantage of the faster SD 8 Gen 2 chip. The battery is a bit larger at 8,400mAh (and, you guessed it, charges at 45W).

If you want an 11” 90Hz LCD but don’t have Tab S9 FE money, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is available at half the price. The LCD is lower quality (not IPS, 206ppi vs. 249ppi) and you lose out on dust and water resistance, stylus and DeX support and a few other goodies. The tablet is equipped with the old Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is slower than the Exynos 1280. You also get less built-in storage, but the microSD slot will take care of that. There’s no fixing the 4GB of RAM, however. Also, the battery is smaller at 7,040mAh and it charges at only 15W.

Finally, there’s the reworked PlayStation 5 Slim. This one has a built-in optical disc, though this is less of a concern as you can attach an external drive to the digital version. Anyway, the console is now below €500.
